Took quite a while to get this setup properly with new SIM card and this wi-fi hot-spot device come with no contract payment plan on Verizon. Then it took almost 1/2 day for it to fully authenticate on Verizons network before it would connect to 4G. Once that was all done the device works well.
Verizon have a 3rd option they don’t mention which is the only way to get without contract. It is call post pay. Basically it is an account without contract which you pay monthly. You can put it on hold 2 months a year and only pay $15.00 each of those 2 months. The rest of the months payment is $50.00 if you don’t pay they cancel and you have to pay the start up fee again.
Its locked to Verizon. If you buy the device outright, you can go month to month. Yes, you can pay month to month, but every time you cancel and wanna reactivate it will cost you $20 activation fee.
